I spent a total of 31 years serving, directly and indirectly, in the defense of the United States because I believe in the principles this nation was founded upon. Those great people who established this nation were also entrepreneurs and it is with that spirit that they found the courage to forge our independence. Through coaching solopreneurs, especially Veterans, I want to encourage, strengthen and grow that same spirit so that we can leave this country greater, prouder and stronger for future generations.
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of businesses can you help?
Corner Office Coaching specializes in helping solopreneurs who own service-based businesses (Professional Organizers, Graphic Design, Health & Wellness or Life Coaching Practices, Network Marketing Businesses, Computer Repair/Installation,…). These business owners are typically underserved by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and SCORE programs which are generally geared toward small business startup who have (or will have) a workforce.
What do coaches do?
A coach helps individuals set and achieve desired goals. Coaches utilize questions, worksheets and assessment tools to help individuals become more effective in specific aspects of their lives (coaching often has positive effects on all aspects of a client’s life). Typically the coach will complete a “take-in” interview to create a baseline for current performance and establish desired goals. The coaching process challenges the client to focus on what they really want and helps them recognize and breakthrough thoughts, emotions and behaviors that have been holding them back from achieving success as the client defines success.
